"We are very excited to partner with Common Craft to open a location in Burlington Mall. The Common Craft team is doing an awesome job envisioning what an Idle Hands satellite taproom would look like, taking cues from our home in Malden. It truly will be a home away from home for us. We are just thrilled to have another location that we can do fun things with, including another Oktoberfest, unique releases, and food/beer focused events. The sky is the limit!" -Christopher Tkach, Founder & President Idle Hands

Two Seam - New England IPA
A two-seam fastball is typically thrown with less “heat” than its more common brother, the four seam, making it the perfect name this IPA. Featuring flavors of apricot, melon and orange. 5% ABV / $8

Four Seam - New England IPA
Our first year-round IPA, conjures up thoughts of a tropical paradise with bursts of citrus, mango and guava that sit on top of a refrained malt backbone. Bitterness remains subdued to allow the true character of the hops to shine through while the cloudy appearance elevates the experience. 6.6% ABV / $9

Six Seam - New England IPA
Subtle spice character from rye complements the increased hopping rates and focus on Mosaic hops. The characteristic smooth pillowy mouthfeel and reduced bitterness elevates the notes of peach, apricot, mango and pineapple. 8.2% ABV / 9 oz / $10

Smokin’ Peaches - Grisette
Flavors of sweet smoke intermingle with fresh peaches and light pepper. This delicious Grisette is produced in conjunction with local friends Neighborhood Produce and Scott Brothers BBQ. 5% ABV / $8

Alpha Fury - American IPA
We made an unapologetic bitter as F West Coast IPA brewed with copious amounts of Columbus, Centennial, Chinook and Cascade hops. Take a sip and relish it’s intensity. 7.5% ABV / 9 oz / $10

Brünhilda - Munich Dunkel
At first sip, hints of cola nut mingle with artisan bread crust. As the beer warms, flavors of chocolate emerge and bread crust yields to fresh baked bread, finishing with a barely perceivable fruitiness reminiscent of Concord grapes. 5.5% ABV / $8

34 - Robust Porter
A robust porter for a robust player. 34 will assault your senses with flavors of dark chocolate, caramel and dark fruit while the sturdy malt body provides ample strength to hit anything thrown at it. 6.6%  ABV / 9 oz / $8

Kill Your Idols - Red Berry
Sour ale with strawberry, raspberry and lactose added. Slightly tart, fruity and sweet. 5.6%  ABV / 9 oz. / $9

Klara - Lager
Cracker-malt profile with herbal and citrus hop notes. Finishes with a mineral-like dryness.  5.5% ABV / $9

Gretel - German Pilsner
We brewed Gretel with a very traditional focus using 100% noble hops and a simple grain bill. The result is a snappy Pils with a light grassy character and touches of spice in the finish. 4.6% ABV / $9

Ben The Potato Manager - Strong Ale
Toffee sweetness with touches of smoke are married with the earthy character of sweet potatoes.
8.0% ABV / 9 oz / $10

Farmhouse Pale Ale - American Farmhouse Ale
Easy drinking farmhouse ale with an American twist. Notes of stone fruit, tropical fruit and bubblegum with a dry peppery finish. 5.6% ABV / $9

Belgian beer dates back to the Middle Ages when it was only produced in monasteries. Over 500 years and 500 beers later, the depth and breadth of Belgian beers is tremendous with most of the popular styles and brands still brewed in Belgium. Today, Belgian beers are frequently paired with a variety of food offerings to complement and enhance the flavors of both.

As the rise of the craft beer and locavore movements coincide, we hope that Idle Hands becomes a local favorite and mainstay. We offer an array of Belgian beers to provide refreshment, complement a meal, and most importantly, keep those idle hands from making the devil’s playground!
